Finishing First UK Ltd was established in 2005 with company directors and owners Brent and Michaela Frankland. Brent has a long history in metal finishing for over 35 years and began serving an apprentice and when qualified, soon started up his own business and employing staff.
Business Expansionfrom 3k to 5k sqm Workshop
Finishing First UK Ltd began its journey in a 3000 sq meter unit and soon started to develop a strong relationship with local fabrication companys in the area. Within 8 years we moved on to Heasandford Industrial Estate with over 5000 sq meters in our workshop. Our main goal to provide a quality service and to re-invest in the business with plant and machinery upgrades to improve our processes and protect the environment.
Finishing First UK Ltd is totally dedicated to our customers who rightfully expect quality and performance. We understand the coating of products is one of the last journeys in production and often can be working to a tight deadline. We aim to deliver quality with a streamlined turnover of projects.

Finishing First have the ability to rapidly respond to any quality issues that might arise during paint or transport, we are also able to use portable equipment to carry out spot checks at any point in the production process. We understand that mistakes and errors are a possibility, but we know the importance of rectifying them as quickly and effectively as possible. Our Continuous Improvement philosophy emphasises problem-solving and the prevention of recurrence. However, we do not just apply it to mistakes, it is also utilised as an improvement tool to map processes and remove any non-value added (NVA) operations – reducing customer costs.
Our ongoing investment in the latest equipment and tools keeps Finishing First UK Ltd at the forefront of the powder coating industry. This includes our large 7 meter ovens and powder-recycling powder coating booths.

- Payment is via BACs or Cash
- Please be aware that access is required outside the premises for deliveries and dispatches.
- We continuously verify that all of our processes are as effective and efficient as possible, and this also includes our inspection/checking processes. We review the variation to determine how accurate our measurement systems are which ensures we are always performing to customer expectations.
